“To get the full value of joy you must have someone to divide it with.”
Mark Twain
Where to start with this sweet couple?! Mallory and Drew are made for one another. Just look at those squishy face smiles and pure joy on their faces.
Mallory and I met one afternoon at one of mine (and her) favorite restaurants, Panera. Yes please, give me allllll the potato soup and any sandwich! As we chatted, I immediately knew Mallory and I were kindred spirits. She knew exactly what she wanted and made me love my job all over again with her sweet compliments about my photography.
On the day of their engagement session, I knew Drew was also going to be my new best friend too because he laughed at all my cheesy jokes. Like, a lot. They wanted to have a nature and “downtown” style session, so naturally I thought of Moss Rock Preserve. You can take a hike and enjoy this little gem of Hoover. You’re also close enough to the little town to have the downtown aesthetic. NOT TO MENTION THE PRESERVE REMINDS ME OF SAVANNAH, GEORGIA. My favorite place. But back to Mallory and Drew, I mean look at them. I love their chemistry with one another and seeing their bright smiles.
I cannot wait to celebrate with them this Cinco De Mayo in Birmingham, AL with some of my favorite vendor friends (Here’s looking at you La Belle Vie Weddings) Thank you Courtney for recommending me to your sweet friends. We’re going to have a great day!
xoxo
