“Sing me a love song in a slow, southern drawl to the tune of sunny days…”
― Kellie Elmore
A Southern Inspired Shoot set in Greenville, Alabama.
I am so honored I was able to work with some amazing Birmingham vendors to make this gorgeous styled shoot happen.
This shoot shows the classic Southern style with soft whites, grays and a pop of color on the couple’s table set for two.
We wanted to be inspired by “Gone with the Wind” meets “Sweet Home Alabama”. We wanted couples to be swept away by the smell of magnolia flowers, sweet muscadine wine and the groom’s Kentucky bourbon.
You’ll see garland lining the stairway in a historic plantation, large white columns, love letters and a bouquet to make you drool.
We set out to do this inspirational shoot one gorgeous October afternoon. We started the shoot with the bride’s hair in a classic twist and by the end of the day, she truly “let her hair down” and relaxed at the thought of getting swept away by her groom.
