Emily and Dylan are truly made for one another. They spent their engagement session laughing and being adventurous together. And when I say adventurous I mean getting into a creek in early March. The water was freezing but their smiles would never let you suspect that.

I met with Emily for coffee one afternoon and we spent around two hours just getting to know one another and talking about all of the things she had in mind for her big day.

She told me that for her engagement session she would love to do something outdoors near a creek because they are “outside people”.  She also told me they wanted to include their fur baby, Boozer, into their photos. Which made my day because you could tell Boozer was happy his humans were getting married! They told me on car ride up to the creek that they had been together since college and met in a science group. Emily thought at first Dylan did not like her because he was so quite! But little did she know that is just who he is! Their friendship eventually turned into a relationship and there was no turning back for either of them. They also told me they made it through a few years of dating long distance. KUDOS to you two and that’s how you know you two are meant to be!

I cannot wait to be the wedding photographer with this couple come September at the 4H Center! Congratulations again my friends and enjoy your engagement.
