“Unless you love someone, nothing else makes sense.” – E.E. Cummings
Niki and Jacob met while they were both working at UAB hospital and had an instant connection. Since they met in Birmingham they wanted to have their engagement session in the heart of the city. We had their session at Railroad Park and you can see the whole thing HERE.
On their wedding day Niki and her girls were buzzing with excitement when I arrived. Gorgeous bright colors set the bright mood for their big day. Niki and Jacob wanted to exchange letters before they saw one another. Both of their faces lit up when they saw each other. Niki and Jacob shared an emotional few moments realizing this day had finally come.
The couple’s ceremony was set inside the gorgeous Barn at Shady Lane. Flower garland on the cross was a beautiful and the soft draping made the perfect backdrop for their nuptials. Niki’s family member had the coolest vintage car that we had to shoot during their sunset portraits. A turquoise interior and exterior went perfectly with their bright colors! Jacob and Niki danced the night away with their closest friends and family. They had friends serenading them and singing along with their favorite songs. Newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Alexander had a fun glow stick send off.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Alexander! xoxo
